Beaches

There are so many lovely beaches to explore, some well populated and others tucked away behind the pine lined roads. For us, we have two favourites: one which can only be referred to as the ‘secret beach’ and one more commonly known, Shell Bay.

The first will alas have to be kept a secret, otherwise it would lose it’s charm and magic, but no doubt with a bit of exploring you may find your own perfect spot of paradise as the coastline is covered in sandy shores just waiting to be explored.

The second, Shell Bay, whilst still close to paradise in my eyes, is far more well known and easily accessed as soon as you exist the chain ferry. Due to it’s size, it thankfully manages to still feel relatively calm, and an hour’s long stroll along the beach brings you to a delightful cafe for some well earned drinks and cakes. Be warned though, you may see one of two nudist in amongst the sand dunes, so for any prudes like us be prepared to look the other way!
